Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Faith Tracker mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Faith Tracker is a Christian devotional app that provides daily Scripture readings, reflections, and prayers. The App supports Catholic, Protestant, and Evangelical traditions. Some features use large language model technology to generate personalized reflections and prayers based on your input.

3. Account and Authentication

You may sign in using Sign in with Apple or Google Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Faith Tracker offers optional premium subscriptions ("Faith Tracker Premium") that unlock additional features. Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and pricing.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods. Refund requests should be directed to Apple.

5. User Content

You may enter personal reflections, notes, and feelings within the App. You retain ownership of any content you submit. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your input solely to generate personalized reflections and prayers for you. We do not share your personal input with other users or third parties except as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Generated Content

Reflections and prayers generated within the App are created using large language model technology and are intended for personal devotional use. Generated content does not represent the views of any church, denomination, or religious authority. It is not a substitute for pastoral counsel, professional advice, or official church teaching.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the source code of the App.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure or other users' access.
• Submit content that is harmful, abusive, or violates any third-party rights.

8. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, and original content are owned by Faith Tracker and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Scripture texts are used under license or from public domain sources (KJV, Douay-Rheims) and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated content will be theologically accurate or appropriate for all contexts.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faith Tracker and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to reliance on generated content.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles.
